Phthalic Acid Resins for Hand Layup and Spraying
Components based on Palatal P61TV-956 N have good non-stick properties and good curability when thin laminating in high humidity environments.
mileage
- Good mechanical properties.
- Fast impregnation
- Good non-stick.
- LR and CCS certified.
Chemical/Physical Properties
Palatal? P 61 TV-956 N is a pre-promoted, thixotropic unsaturated polyester resin on the basis of phthalic acid and standard diols dissolved in styrene. The resin has low viscosity and high reactivity. A color change system has been introduced.
appliance
Palatal P61TV-956N is ideally suited for both hand lay-up and spray processes. It impregnates the reinforcement quickly during lay-up and does not lose it vertically. Palatal? P 61 TV-956N has good mechanical properties. Suitable for the marine, bathroom, leisure and cabin industries.
Palatal? P61TV-956N is approved for shipbuilding by China Classification Society (CCS) and Lloyd's Register (LR).

Curing Conditions: Add 2.0 g of Butanox M50 to 100 g of resin to cure. Cure at room temperature for 24 hours, then at 80 °C for 24 hours.
Processing Guide
- MEKP is recommended as curing agent. The dosage is 1%~2.5%. Users can adjust the dosage according to the ambient temperature and process time.
- Thixotropic resin. We recommend gentle stirring before use.
Application Guidelines
Products cured at room temperature should be post-cured for optimum performance. The product should be cured at room temperature for 24 hours prior to post-curing treatment. Prior to assembly, such as drilling treatments, it is best to leave the product at room temperature for 24-48 hours.
