Trigonox? 63 is a peroxide mixture containing MEKP and acetylacetone peroxide for curing unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of cobalt accelerators at room and elevated temperatures. It is faster than Trigonox? 61 and Butanox? M-50 and slower than Trigonox? 44B.

The curing system Trigonox? 63/Cobalt accelerator is particularly suitable for the curing of laminated resins and for applications that require shorter demolding times than those obtained with Butanox? M-50. In addition, in contrast to the curing system benzoyl peroxide/amine accelerators, it is possible to manufacture light-resistant parts.
