Trigonox? 178 Red is a slower reacting MEKP/CHP blend for curing promoted unsaturated polyester substrates at room temperature for the suppression of exotherms in thick or hot parts.

Trigonox? 178 Red is a convenient premixed initiator for curing unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester and acrylic thermoset resins with metal salts under ambient conditions. Trigonox? 178 Red produces less exotherm than standard MEKPs and is suitable for both warm and hot climates. Applications include cast polymers and laminates. Additional end-use information is available in the various application sheets or directly from your Nouryon representative.
