Product Information:
- Trigonox 131 is a tert-amyl peroxy diethyl carbonate for crosslinking of elastomers at moderate temperatures, typical crosslinking temperature of 150°C. It is used in the manufacture of elastomers and in the manufacture of elastomers.
- Trigonox 131 is recommended for demanding applications, such as as a crosslinker for polyolefin elastomer copolymer (POE) films in photovoltaic devices.

- CAS No.: 70833-40-8, Molecular weight: 260.4.
- The active oxygen content is 6.141 TP3T of peroxide.
- Specification: Active oxygen 5.77-6.14%, appearance of transparent liquid, content ≥ 94.0%.
- Other characteristics include hydroperoxide content, inorganic + organic hydrolyzable chlorine content, viscosity, etc.
Application and Stability:
- Can be used in market segments such as polymer production, polymer cross-linking, thermoset composites and acrylics with different applications/functions.
- The self-accelerating decomposition temperature (SADT) is 55°C (131°F).
- The recommended maximum storage temperature is 20°C (68°F) and the shelf life is at least 3 months after delivery.
Packaging and transportation:
- Standard packaging is in 30 liter HDPE drums (Nourytainer?) containing 25 kg of peroxide. Packaging and transportation comply with international regulations.
Security and Handling:
- It is recommended that Trigonox 131 be stored and handled in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from heat or ignition sources and out of direct sunlight.
