Product Information:
- Trigonox 117 is a tert-butyl peroxy diethyl carbonate for crosslinking elastomers at medium temperatures, typically 150°C. It is used in the manufacture of elastomers.
- Trigonox 117 is recommended for demanding applications, such as as a crosslinker for ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) films in photovoltaic devices.

Application and Stability:
- For polymer production, polymer cross-linking, thermoset composites and acrylics and their different applications/functions in the market segment.
- Self-accelerating decomposition temperature (SADT) of 60°C (140°F).
- The recommended maximum storage temperature is 20°C (68°F) and the shelf life is at least 3 months after delivery.
Packaging and transportation:
- In North America, Trigonox 117 is packaged in 44.1 lb. net weight non-returnable polyethylene drums.
- In other regions, the standard packaging is a 30 liter HDPE drum (Nourytainer?) containing 25 kg of peroxide content.
- Packaged and transported in accordance with international regulations and classified as an organic peroxide Class D liquid, Division 5.2; UN 3105.

- It is recommended to store in a dry and ventilated place, away from heat, ignition sources and direct sunlight.
