Trigonox? 101-20PP is a highly efficient peroxide formulation for the production of controlled rheology polypropylene (CR-PP) in extrusion processes in the 200-250°C temperature range. The beads form a masterbatch of liquid Trigonox? 101-20PP, allowing for more accurate addition of peroxide to the polymer. A more uniform distribution of the peroxide throughout the polymer is also advantageous. The use of the bead form rather than the liquid form allows for better control of the viscosity reduction cracking process.
