"Perkadox 16 GB-70 was developed with the latest U.S. regulatory requirements in mind, including a National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Class II rating," said Ross Opsahl, business development manager for Nouryon Polymer Chemistry. "It is a stabilized peroxide powder that readily dissolves in styrene or resins, allowing our distributors and customers to safely store up to 10 times the amount of product while improving operational efficiency and ease of handling."

Nouryon also recently expanded its peroxide product line in North America with the introduction of its Butanox-branded methyl ethyl ketone peroxide ("MEKP") product line; a new version of its Butanox M-50 vanishing red peroxide; and an emulsion-based organic peroxide for the PVC market.
