TBPEHC is a colorless, flowable liquid composed primarily of technically pure tert-butyl peroxy-(2-ethylhexyl) carbonate. This thermally stable carbonate monoperoxide is used as an initiator (free radical source) in monomer (SM) polymerization, unsaturated polyester (UP) curing, and polymer (EVA) crosslinking.

- Often used with benzoyl peroxide (BPO) in suspension or tert-butyl peroxy-2-ethylhexanoate (TBPEH) in block polymerization.

- Usage: 0.021 TP3T - 0.11 TP3T as supplied.
- Advantages: Reduced residual monomer content in the polymer, no aromatic decomposition products.
