- Form: Colorless liquid containing approximately 50% w/w tert-butyl peroxy-2-ethylhexanoate mixed with aliphatic hydrocarbons via a desensitizer. This is a branched fatty acid ester used as an initiator for the polymerization of monomers, especially for methacrylates.
