Application Guide
- Prior to use, the resin should be adjusted at a well-defined application temperature (typically at least 15°C for MEKP/Co co-curing).
- Synolite? 8175-W-1 contains a cobalt accelerator. For peroxides, MEKP is recommended. ensure that the peroxide is within its shelf life.
- Maintain shop temperatures between 18°C and 32°C and humidity between 40% and 90%. Stable shop conditions help maintain consistent gel times and help manufacturers produce high quality parts.
- Please mix the product thoroughly before use. It is recommended to avoid styrene dilution to maintain flame retardant properties.
- Fire resistance can be improved by adding a flame retardant of 5-7% to the resin.
- The final cured state can be further optimized by post-curing for several hours after warming (e.g. 80°C).
