Product Properties
Palatal? XF 9012 is a halogen-free flame retardant resin with low viscosity and high reactivity.
typical application
Palatal? XF 9012 is a resin specifically designed for pultrusion processes. The resin is not flame retardant itself, but due to its low viscosity it can be filled with large amounts of aluminum hydroxide, making it suitable for use in a variety of environments where flame retardancy and smoke toxicity are important.
Palatal? XF 9012 is suitable for the production of pultruded products of different sizes, but due to the high content of aluminum hydroxide in the solution, care needs to be taken to adjust the amount of reinforcement material. The very high reactivity of Palatal? XF 9012 allows for high pultrusion speeds, even with high levels of aluminum hydroxide in the solution. Palatal? XF 9012 can be used in a wide range of molding processes such as pultrusion, hand lay-up and casting of grids.

Process Operation Guide
- Palatal? XF 9012 resin does not contain an accelerator and should be used with a cobalt accelerator for room temperature curing;
- When used in the pultrusion process the curing system should be selected according to the specific equipment, products, process temperature, pultrusion speed and other factors. It is recommended that the amount of curing agent should be between 0.75%-2.0% of the total weight of the resin;
- The temperature of the workshop should be maintained between 18℃ and 32℃, and the humidity of the workshop should be maintained between 40% and 90%. Constant working conditions in the workshop help the manufacturer to produce high quality products.
