Palatal? P 6-901 is a general purpose o-phenylene unsaturated polyester resin with medium viscosity and high reactivity.

Palatal? P 6-901 is suitable for hand lay-up, winding and other processes. It has high mechanical strength and good heat and chemical resistance, and is widely used in a variety of non-reinforced as well as glass fiber reinforced products, such as pipelines, tanks, ships, automotive parts and other structural components.

Process Operation Guide
- The resin needs to be stored at a suitable temperature and humidity for a constant period of time before use, and the operating temperature should normally be above 15°C when using the MEKP/Co curing system;
- Palatal? P 6-901 resin does not contain accelerators, cobalt accelerators should be added when used. MEKP can be used as curing agent. It should be ensured that the curing agent is within the validity period;
- In order to make the natural molding surface of the product in contact with air not sticky after curing, it is recommended to add paraffin-styrene solution.
- The shop temperature should be maintained between 18°C and 32°C, and the shop humidity should be maintained between 40% and 90%. Constant shop conditions will result in constant gel time and help manufacturers produce high quality products;
- The final cured state of the product prior to use can be post-cured for a few hours at high temperatures (e.g. 80°C) to achieve optimum physical and chemical properties.
