Brylon A 400-972 is a m-phenylene unsaturated polyester resin with medium viscosity and high reactivity.

Brylon A 400-972 is suitable for pipes, tanks, automotive parts, ships and counter molds and other molded products requiring high mechanical properties. Applications

Curing condition: 24 hours at room temperature, 24 hours after 80℃.
Test conditions: temperature 23±2℃, relative humidity 50±5%

Instructions for use and precautions

Brylon A 400-972 resin does not contain accelerator, cobalt accelerator should be added when using, the amount of 0.5~2.0% (1% concentration).

The curing agent can be MEKP in the amount of 1.0~2.5%. It should be ensured that the curing agent is within the validity period.

The resin contains no wax.

In order to ensure that FRP products made from A 400-972 have the desired design strength and chemical resistance, they must be adequately post-cured: 3 to 4 hours at 80°C.
