Byronic H 814-902 is a low shrinkage additive for SMC / BMC, which belongs to the modified polystyrene type. It has high impact resistance, excellent color compatibility, gloss and certain heat/weather resistance.

H 814-902 is mainly for SMC/BMC products with low shrinkage (shrinkage >0.08%). It is effective in minimizing cracking of products.

Instructions for use and precautions
Palapreg H 814-902 is usually used in conjunction with P 17-902 to produce low shrinkage molding compounds. In general, the ratio of P 17-902 to H 814-902 is 70:30, but it can be adjusted according to the actual situation. Molding conditions are: 140~160°C and 50~100kg/cm2. 300ppm~ 600ppm p-benzoquinone can be added to the formula according to the size requirement of the final product (calculated on the basis of the total amount of resin and low shrinkage additives).
