- Recommended storage temperature: 0-25°C
- Post-delivery maintenance of activity: 6 months
Applications: NOROX WPC-100 in combination with a cobalt catalyst performs well at both room and elevated temperatures for excellent curing systems for unsaturated polyester resins. Cobalt concentrations (naphthoic or octanoic acid in 1% solution) should be in the range of 0.1% to 1.0%. NOROX WPC-100 has an emulsification system that meets the stringent regulations for piping, tanks, etc., used for potable water in Germany, France, and the Netherlands. The advantages of using NOROX WPC-100 over conventional initiators are that it provides a more complete cure, reduced residual styrene content and stronger parts. Compared to standard AAPs, you'll get similar gel times, slightly higher peak heat release, but better final cure. Applicable manufacturing processes include: RTM, fiber wrap, centrifugal casting or continuous lamination.
Packaging: NOROX WPC-100 is packaged in 25 kg polyethylene bottles as standard.
