Description: This document describes the chemical Norox? MEKP-9H, a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, used as a general purpose curing agent for polyester resins cured at room temperature. It is also suitable for use in heated continuous mixing systems such as polymer concrete and artificial marble products.

Applications: Norox? MEKP-9H is an excellent liquid general purpose curing agent for polyester resins curing at room temperature, where it imparts medium to high exothermic properties to the curing process. It is also well suited as a curing agent for gelatin coatings. Specific resin recommendations can be obtained from the resin supplier.Norox? MEKP-9H is highly refined and essentially free of water, hydrogen peroxide and methyl ethyl ketone. Compared to most polyester resins, Norox? MEKP-9H has a slightly longer gel time, but a similar total cure time.
