Applications:
- Norox? MEKP-900 is a general purpose methyl ethyl ketone peroxide containing high levels of hydrogen peroxide and is a general purpose workhorse in the United Initiators product line. It ensures consistent room temperature performance with resins with excellent purity. However, a single MEKP initiator formulation will not provide optimum results in all resin systems, so it is absolutely essential to evaluate each MEKP in each resin you plan to use before attempting full-scale production.
Packaging, transportation and supply:
- Norox? MEKP-900 is available in standard package sizes of 4x8 lb/4x3.6 kg polyethylene bottles and 40 lb/20 kg Hedpacks. custom package sizes are also available upon request by contacting your local distributor or United Initiators.
- The safety classification is detailed in the Norox? MEKP-900 Safety Data Sheet in Section 14.
- Norox? MEKP-900 is available through a nationwide distribution network, and United Initiators can be contacted for distributor information in your area.
Summary: This document provides technical data and application information for Norox? MEKP-900, a general purpose curing agent for unsaturated polyester resins that can be used at room temperature. Each MEKP needs to be evaluated before use in different resin systems.
