Areas of application:
- Polyethylene crosslinking:
- Used as peroxide crosslinking agent, suitable for crosslinking of polyethylene (HDPE and LDPE), crosslinking temperature: 180°C or more.
- Use level: 0.5-2% (according to the mass ratio of the material supplied).
- Characteristics: Very efficient, almost no premature cross-linking (scorching).
- The product is highly volatile and a closed system is recommended for mixing and diffusion with polyethylene powders.
- Control of polypropylene rheology:
- Rheology control agent for polypropylene in the temperature range of 200°C - 220°C.
- Use level: 0.011 TP3T - 0.11 TP3T (proportional to polymer mass).
- This degradation (e.g., in an extruder) reduces the molecular weight of the polypropylene, making it easier to (re)process.
- Electrical properties:
- The new version of the DTBP S-500 is electrically conductive, significantly reducing the risk of electrostatic discharge.
