DHBP-45-PSI1 is a hard white paste of 2,5-Dimethyl-2,5-di(tert.butylperoxy)hexane containing about 45% of 2,5-Dimethyl-2,5-di(tert.butylperoxy)hexane, which is antisensitized by silicone rubber. It is mainly used as a free radical initiator in the cross-linking reaction of silicone rubber at temperatures higher than 170°C. It is also used as a free radical initiator in the cross-linking reaction of silicone rubber.

Product Description.

• DHBP-45-PSI1 is a white paste containing approximately 451 TP3T w/w of 2,5-Dimethyl-2,5-di(tert.butylperoxy)hexane sensitized by silicone rubber.
• The main use is as a crosslinking agent for silicone rubber.

• Appearance: White hard paste-like substance
• Anti-sensitizer: Silicone rubber
• Measured value: approx. 45% w/w
• Active Oxygen (AO): approx. 4.96% w/w
• Critical temperature (SADT): approx. 90°C
• Recommended storage temperature: not exceeding 30°C
• Storage stability after delivery date: 6 months
• Standard packaging is 15 kg (33.1 lb) plastic drums

Applications.

• Used as a crosslinker in many polymers and elastomers, especially silicone rubber (VMQ).
• Crosslinking temperature: above 170°C
• No premature cross-linking (flaming) below 140°C.
• Utilization level: 1-6%
