Product Description.
- CUROX? M-403 is a colorless liquid consisting of a peroxide based on methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, desensitized by a mixture of dimethyl phthalate.
- It is used as a source of free radicals to initiate unsaturated polyester resins, usually in conjunction with a cobalt catalyst.

Applications.
- Primary use is with cobalt catalysts for curing all unsaturated polyester resin types at room temperature.
- Standard dosage levels: 1-31 TP3T as supplied, 0.5-21 TP3T with 11 TP3T cobalt solution.
- The "pot time" (gel time of resin + peroxide + catalyst) is short relative to standard MEKP, but can be extended with the addition of Inhibitor TC-510.
- Moderate heat production. Relatively short demolding times. Curing times are significantly longer at temperatures below 20°C, when cobalt/amine catalysts or a mixture with acetylacetone peroxide should be used.
Storage.
- Avoid any source of heat, light and humidity and protect the product from impurities. Maintain within a safe temperature range.
