• CUROX? CUHP is a colorless to pale yellow liquid containing propiophenone peroxide.
• Free radical initiator for unsaturated polyester resins, vinyl monomers and greases.
• Can be used alone or mixed with other peroxides for both room and high temperature processes.

• Appearance: light yellow to colorless liquid.
• Active oxygen content: 8.7%.
• Propoxyphenone peroxide content: 80-85%.
• Flash point: > 72°C.
• Density: 1.05 g/cm3.
• Soluble in: alcohols, ketones, esters, hydrocarbons.
• Slightly soluble in: water.
• Critical temperature (SADT): 75°C.
• Recommended storage temperature: below 30°C.
• Retention time of activity below 30°C: 6 months.
• Starting temperature: approx. 80°C.
• Form of supply: 25 kg polyethylene container.

Applications:

• Suitable for curing unsaturated polyester resins at room and elevated temperatures.
• Has a mild exothermic profile that helps avoid cracking.
• Usually used with cobalt and/or manganese compounds.
• WARNING: Do not mix with acids or directly with additives, which may cause decomposition and result in fire or explosion.
