- CUROX? CUHP is a colorless to pale yellow liquid containing propiophenone peroxide.
- Free radical initiator for unsaturated polyester resins, vinyl monomers and greases.
- Can be used alone or mixed with other peroxides for both room and high temperature processes.

- Appearance: light yellow to colorless liquid.
- Active oxygen content: 8.7%.
- Propoxyphenone peroxide content: 80-85%.
- Flash point: > 72°C.
- Density: 1.05 g/cm3.
- Soluble in: alcohols, ketones, esters, hydrocarbons.
- Slightly soluble in: water.
- Critical temperature (SADT): 75°C.
- Recommended storage temperature: below 30°C.
- Retention time of activity below 30°C: 6 months.
- Starting temperature: approx. 80°C.
- Form of supply: 25 kg polyethylene container.
Applications:
- Suitable for curing unsaturated polyester resins at room and elevated temperatures.
- Has a mild exothermic profile that helps avoid cracking.
- Usually used with cobalt and/or manganese compounds.
- WARNING: Do not mix with acids or directly with additives, which may cause decomposition and result in fire or explosion.
