AKPEROX A249 is a convenient premixed initiator for curing unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester and acrylic thermoset resins with metal salts under ambient conditions. Akperox A249 produces lower outside temperatures than standard MEKPs and is suitable for both warm and hot weather climates. Applications include cast polymers and thick laminates.

Akperox A239 is a peroxide blend based on isopropylphenyl peroxide specifically developed for curing vinyl ester resins in combination with cobalt accelerators.

At room or elevated temperatures, AKPEROX ZZ 350 achieves extremely fast curing, which means shorter cycle times and thus increased productivity. Its formulation guarantees a better cure than common acetylacetone peroxides; this results in low residual styrene and non-tacky surface GRP products. The product has been specifically studied for continuous processes, such as continuous filament winding of GRP pipes. It is also suitable for centrifugal casting and sheet lamination.

AKPEROX MIKP-S is a methyl isobutyl ketone peroxide formulation for curing unsaturated polyester resins by themselves or in the presence of cobalt accelerators in the temperature range of 60-150. AKPEROX MIKP-S can be used in combination with cobalt accelerators for applications requiring long gel times or production times at ambient temperatures and fast curing at higher temperatures (e.g. 60-100°C). Areas of application can be: filament winding as well as the production of flat and corrugated sheets.

AKPEROX MIKP is used for curing unsaturated polyester (UP) resins in the presence of cobalt accelerators in the temperature range of 60-150 °C. (EgAKCOBALT % 6) In combination with cobalt accelerators provides longer setting times at room temperature. In order to shorten the cure time, it should be used at 60 - 100 °C. In addition, AKPEROX MIKP provides high reactivity at high temperatures even without cobalt accelerators. It is particularly suitable for roof coatings.

AKPEROX MEC is a general purpose MEKP for curing unsaturated polyester (UP) resins at room temperature.

AKPEROX LPT-N is a general purpose MEKP for curing unsaturated polyester (UP) resins at room and elevated temperatures. LPT provides longer setting times than other ketone peroxides. It is particularly well suited for applications requiring longer set times, as well as for the production of large parts and coiled tubing. Recommended for use with vinyl ester resins. Suitable for gelcoat applications with low hydrogen peroxide and low water content to prevent bubbles and cracks in the surface quality.

AKPEROX LPT is a general purpose MEKP for curing unsaturated polyester (UP) resins at room and elevated temperatures. LPT provides longer setting times than other ketone peroxides. It is particularly well suited for applications requiring longer set times, as well as for the production of large parts and coiled tubing. Recommended for use with vinyl ester resins. Suitable for gelcoat applications with low hydrogen peroxide and low water content to prevent bubbles and cracks in the surface quality.
