Product Name: BENOX? L-40LV-EU
Ingredients: Diphenyl peroxide (CAS#94-36-0) 40% white dispersion
Appearance: white dispersion
Description: BENOX? L-40LV-EU is a low viscosity, sprayable diphenyl peroxide dispersion. Designed for use in curing unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins, it offers the following advantages:
- low water content
- Faster gel-to-peak time than MEKP systems
- Lower exothermic value than MEKP systems
- Less susceptible to "wrapping" than equipment designed/modified for spraying bisphenol peroxide dispersion
- More stable and less separation than common BPO dispersions on the market
- Less viscosity fluctuation
BENOX? L-40LV-EU can also be used as an initiator for the polymerization of monomers (e.g. styrene, acrylates, etc.).

APPLICATION: BENOX? L-40LV-EU is a low viscosity dispersion that may separate slightly on standing. It mixes easily and should be agitated immediately prior to use. Continuous agitation will maintain a homogeneous dispersion when using spray equipment.BENOX? L-40LV-EU can be rinsed out of spray equipment with isopropyl alcohol, ethanol, or acetone, followed by soap and water.BENOX? L-40LV-EU is well suited for the curing of road marking coatings based on acrylic resins. In order to successfully spray BENOX? L-40LV-EU through equipment normally used for MEKP systems, the catalyst supply system must be modified. Spray equipment suppliers can recommend appropriate modifications for their equipment. However, under normal spray equipment operating conditions, BENOX? L-40LV-EU should not be expected to separate and "wrap" in the catalyst supply system. However, when the system is shut down for an extended period of time (i.e., overnight) and BENOX? L-40LV-EU is not recirculated, the catalyst section should be depressurized.
